“The afternoon of 11 March 2025 was a day my husband and I will never forget. It was only our third day back in Adelaide, and we were busy preparing to move out on 16 March. After living in Adelaide for two and a half years, we were excited that we would no longer need to worry about meeting the residency requirements. We would finally have the freedom to live anywhere in Australia. The only thing missing was our Permanent Residency (PR), which we had not yet received.
