Employer Sponsored Visa
In addition to the common skilled migration pathways, employer-sponsored visas are becoming an increasingly popular option for migrating to Australia. Recent policy updates have introduced key benefits: no quota competition, no EOI points test, and possible exemptions for age and English language requirements.
For Australian employers, we assist in obtaining Standard Business Sponsorship (SBS) approval and managing subsequent sponsorship applications, helping businesses bring in the skilled talent they need.
For applicants, we provide support in securing a work visa or permanent residency through nomination by an Australian employer, based on your skills and work experience.
In December 2024, the Department of Home Affairs released the Core Skills Occupation List (CSOL) with 456 occupations. This list applies to the new Skills in Demand (SID) visa – subclass 482 and the Employer Nomination Scheme – subclass 186 (Direct Entry stream), which provides a direct pathway to permanent residency.
With a broad range of occupations, there is now a pathway for almost everyone. The SID visa requires just one year of relevant work experience. The subclass 186 visa allows an entire family obtain permanent residency if one applicant qualifies. The DAMA program offers options for older applicants or those with limited English.
